Pink Floyd
Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2
1979 · The Wall
Official music video. Official music video on the Pink Floyd channel. From The Wall, 1979.
Documented
From the album The Wall, 1979. The official video on the Pink Floyd channel calls the album Roger Waters’ rock opera about abandonment and personal isolation, and names Gerald Scarfe’s artwork. The same note says the album was later filmed by Alan Parker with Bob Geldof. That is the release record. It is not a verdict on schooling.
What can be seen or heard
The track is a school scene. Children sing against a teacher. A wall is the album’s image, not a metaphor supplied here. The official picture is Scarfe’s animation. A hammer, a march, and a face are in that film. They are not relabeled.
What the artist said
The channel’s description is the statement opened for this chair. A separate interview in which Waters explains his own school was not filed. Do not invent one.
Living Realm comparison
A wall and a refusal can be set beside other boundary chairs. The comparison does not turn the school song into a doctrine about Earth, and it does not edit The Wall.
