Where are we?

  1. In the observable cosmos of planets, stars, and galaxies, described by physical processes. Other dimensions or universes remain speculative.

  2. In a world created and ordered by God.

  3. In a cosmos created by God. Heaven, Earth, and hell (concepts vary by tradition) frame the larger setting.

  4. In an ordered creation by Allah, with multiple heavens and unseen realms beyond ordinary sight.

  5. In a cosmos expressed cyclically. Cosmological traditions often place Mount Meru at the axis; accounts vary enormously by school.

  6. In a conditioned cosmos of multiple realms. Traditional cosmologies include Meru. No single creator is required.

  7. Within Heaven, Earth, and humanity as an interconnected process of the Dao.

  8. In an ordered cosmos that emerged from a primordial state, structured by cosmic order and the solar journey.

  9. In a world whose order was established by the gods, with divine realm and underworld as part of cosmic geography.

  10. In Midgard — one of multiple worlds organized around Yggdrasil, the world axis.

  11. In an ordered creation opposed by a destructive force, spanning spiritual and material creation.

  12. In a material universe that is not the thetan’s ultimate identity. Cosmic history extends beyond Earth.

  13. In the world of the Sumerian texts filed here: heaven, earth, and a netherworld, with kingship lowered from heaven. A single map of the cosmos is not on these tablets.

  14. In a world of gods, mortals, and an underworld. Olympus, Hades, and later philosophical cosmos are not one setting.

  15. In the middle region of an eternal, uncreated loka, with heavens above and hells below.

  16. In a world created by the one God, real enough to live in and not itself God.

  17. Among kami, in the land the myths populate. Shrine, household, and landscape are the usual setting, not a metaphysical diagram.

  18. Between Heaven and Earth, in a world of ancestors, gods, and correlative order. The picture is not the same in classical cosmology and in every temple.

  19. In a cosmos that many Gnostic texts treat as lower than the divine fullness. Where that cosmos sits, and who made it, differs by school.

  20. In a cosmos ordered by divine Mind, often described as alive and layered into spheres.

  21. In ayé, the visible world, in relation to òrun. Lineages do not tell this in one wording.

  22. On islands whose cosmologies are genealogical. Sky, land, and sea are not mapped the same way in every archipelago.

  23. In this world, between an upper world and an inner or lower one, in reciprocity with land and ancestors. Inca Cusco is not every Andean center.

  24. Beside an otherworld that Irish and Welsh literatures place in mounds, islands, or Annwn. A Continental Celtic map does not survive in the same form.

  25. In a world created by one God, understood as one humanity rather than as several closed religious maps.

  26. Not one place for both names. A Lakota telling is set in relation to the Black Hills and to emergence at Wind Cave. Dakota country is not that sentence.

  27. On the surface world, inside the four sacred mountains of Dinétah. Not on the turtle’s back, and not at a Hopi sipapu.

  28. In this world, entered through the sipapu. Clan land and the covenant belong to the telling. Not Dinétah’s four mountains.

  29. Working synthesis · not a verdict

In a living reality whose heart and axis is Mount Meru, among multiple realms.
