Creation by Allah.
Architecture
Created world, moral judgment
Allah creates seen and unseen. Humans are moral agents. Multiple heavens. Circuit closes in judgment and continued existence, without rebirth.
- 01
Allah as creator
Sole creator of an ordered world.
- 02
Ordered creation
Seen and unseen. Sacred earthly orientation is not a cosmic Meru in this chart.
- 03
Angels, jinn, Iblis
Distinct created classes. Iblis belongs to the moral field of rebellion.
- 04
Moral human
Accountable agent, not a repeating incarnation.
- 05
Judgment and continuance
Death opens judgment and continued existence. Rebirth is not the claim.
- Time
- Linear toward final judgment and transformation.
- Agents
- Allah; angels; jinn; Iblis.
- Human slot
- Moral agent before Allah. Becoming divine is not the doctrine.
- Break
- Iblis and rebellion. Allah remains sole creator.
Recorded claims
An evidence label is shown only where the kind of source is already established. No label means unclassified. A label is not a judgment. Source Needed means no source is attached yet. It does not mean the claim is false, weak, or disproven.

How we know
Where the evidence comes from, and how far it is from the people it describes. The labels are not a score. They do not rank traditions. A manuscript year, a tradition’s own claim, and a date from the ground are kept apart on the timeline.
The Qur’an is traditionally compiled in the mid-7th century. Early manuscript fragments are also 7th century. One folio’s parchment has been radiocarbon-dated to a range overlapping that century. That dates the skin, not by itself the day the ink was written.
The tradition says the Qur’an was recited before it was a bound book. We do not have a public autograph in Muhammad’s hand. Major hadith collections are 8th–9th century. Biography (the sīra) is later still. Those are not the Qur’an. The gap is shorter than for many ancient canons, and it is still a gap.
Original evidence → transmission / copy → translation / documentation → modern interpretation
01
Original evidence
Contemporary primary text
Early Qur’an manuscripts are primary evidence for the text in the first Islamic century. They are copies of a recited book, not a diary.
02
Transmission / copy
Later copy of earlier text
The standard written text has a transmission history (qirāʾāt and later copies). Hadith and sīra are different corpora, written down later.
03
Translation / documentation
Later religious or traditional text
Translations into other languages are not the Arabic. Tafsīr is interpretation written after the text, sometimes centuries after.
04
Modern interpretation
Modern scholarly reconstruction
Academic dating of the Qur’an and traditional accounts of compilation are different kinds of claim. This chart does not decide between them. Its cell is not a verse.
